Apostle Islands 2005 / Raspberry Island Lighthouse

The joy of seeing Raspberry Lighthouse was diminished somewhat by being told moments before that Jenny had left her keys in my Jeep back at Little Sand Bay where we launch. The funny thing, see, is that this was a one-way trip--we needed to drive Jenny's car back up to get my Jeep after we paddled back to Bayfield. You can't drive a car when its only set of keys is fifteen miles away.

The Raspberry Island Lighthouse was completed in 1862.
