Colorado Trip / Views Near the TopThe trail went to Cow Lake but we didn't get that far. This is one of the flats just below the lake but, as we gained a few hundred feet elevation and the trail hit shade, we found knee-deep snow and soon turned back. Hiking uphill in knee-deep snow at 13,000 feet is taxing business. |
