| La Democracia Here I am outside the gates of La Democracia, which was a few blocks down from our house. Most of the students stayed with families a few blocks away, although there were others who were further out. The house is small and can only accommodate 10-12 students at a time, which is a good thing: it guarantees one-on-one lessons with the instructor, and it's easier to find 12 good instructors than, say, 30. |
