| La Democracia Unlike what we heard about other schools in Antigua (suburb of Guatemala City) and some of the schools in downtown Xela, you come to La Democracia to learn Spanish, not play a few games and speak English with the other students. Most nights we had some homework to do, but we'd generally find a cafe, grab a couple beers and start reviewing. This stressed look is a pose; I actually quite liked the exercises and lessons. |
