Sites (Salcaja) The public wash outside Salcaja was quite a bit larger and fed from a warm underground spring. The guide said this was a major place for social gatherings as there were baths on the other side of the building, and the whole family would come down on the weekend to chat up the neighbors while washing themselves and doing laundry.
