Xela

Get your fresh milk here! To the right you can see the La Democracia market, open seven days a week. The big yellow building across the street is the supermarket which more or less sells the same food as what's in the market. Most locals (and yours truly) preferred to shop in the market where the food comes from the neighboring hills and farms. Why buy a banana from Chile when you can get one from outside Xela?

And why buy your milk in a plastic jug when you can squeeze it from a ripe, pink udder? Seriously, that's what the young man in the hat is selling.
