Xela
Here's a look at two
cross streets in the La Democracia market and a street vendor that, regrettably,
we never tried. (We did eat some stuff from street vendors with no ill effects,
just not this guy.) In the distance you can see the ring of volcanic mountains
that surround Xela. It was also a few weeks before election day and the
entire country was absolutely covered with political ads. The black X marks
through the candidates logo isn't vandalism; it's telling voters to check
that box come election day.
