| Xela Amy grills a little girl on whether her stall is up to date on its health records. Seriously though, this is an action shot of one our ventures into street food. Behind Amy's outstretched hand you can see my favorite, the fried plantain. She's pointing to what in Guatemala are called enchiladas, which are what we'd likely call tostadas: a crispy corn tortilla covered with cheese and some meat. Amy backed off when she found out these were tofu enchiladas--no lie. |
