| Sintra The National Palace's most striking feature is the set of smoke stacks you see peeking over the top of the building. The palace is on the same level as the rest of the town (Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle are way, way up on the hill) and you can see these towering smoke stacks from just about anywhere. |
