We picked up a rental car and drove an hour south of Sevilla to Jerez de la Frontera, known for horses and sherry--we sampled both. Then we headed east to Arcos, the gateway to the Pueblos Blancos. Arcos is perched atop a cliff and it's hard to find a decent vantage point for a photo, so there's somebody else's to the right.

We stayed at one of my favorite places of the trip in Arcos, at La Casa Grande. Great views (as you would expect) but a nice, artsy feel to these rooms.
