Food was also
slightly overpriced for the only so-so quality, but you can't go wrong with
toasted bread and jam topped with a roasted pepper. A lot of people think
Spain and Mexico have a lot in common, including their food. That's actually
not the case at all, as only one of the tapas dishes we ate (in the La Rioja
region) had anything most American fans of spicy Mexican food would consider
hot. Even the fried peppers were very mild.
