We took a final shot of the lit-up palace from across the river. It was around eleven o'clock when we left, and we stopped on the way home to get a drink. We hung around for a half-hour, and when we were paying to go the woman at the bar asked with a big smile if we were heading to the fair. We said we'd already been, and she gave us a look like "Why would you be going home so soon?" If there's one thing that's abundantly clear in Spain, the people like to stay up late.
