From Arcos we headed east to Grazalema with a stop in tiny Zahara along the way. There are many nice White Hill Towns but a few of them are special, and these two both fit that description. When we first visited this area we didn't have time for hike and that was one of the things we wanted to address on this trip...and did!

We stayed in another great place in Grazalema, La Mejorana. It's a small place with only five rooms but the proprietors Andre and Ana really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, including the national park to get our hiking permit. But man did they have thick Castilian accents in that part of the country...
