Of course, the clouds closed in as we climbed into the mountains and made driving a bit of a pain but, happily, the drivers we encountered were a) few, b) far between, and c) courteous. This was not the case in, say, Portugal's mountains, nor would be the case in the mountains in the north of Spain.
