We spent two days in Madrid with Trent's parents Bob & Marti and Amy's parents, Bob & Karen. We stayed at the Hotel Europa, which is affordable, comfortable, and has a great location within spitting distance of the Puerta del Sol.
We strolled the city, went to Plaza Mayor and the Prado, then admired the Royal Palace (from the outside) before hitting some tapas bars.

Amy and I had an additional night in Madrid at the end of our trip and stayed in the lovely Hostal Adriano and, of course, sampled some more tapas.
