Like many tapas joints in Madrid, La Casa del Abuelo has a tiny menu. You have all of four choices: gambas a la plancha (grilled shrimp), gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp), langostinos plancha (grilled langostines, which are large prawns), and gambas gabardina (breaded shrimp). That's it. You get a small serving, a small glass of beer or wine, eat up, then move on to the next place.
