As a side excursion we went out to the Pileta Caves to take a gander at some prehistoric (and authentic) cave paintings. Other similar sites have been closed due to the paintings being ruined by electric light and camera flashes, but the Pileta Caves have always been owned by the family who found the caves on their land back in the early 20th century.
