| We woke up
early and got a move on, fearing that high winds and waves would mean it
would take us forever to get back but we were lucky. The wind died in the
night and we had a relatively smooth trip back, even against the breeze
and the wind. We made the trip in under an hour and were all checked back
in, cleaned up, and on the road back to Madison by noon. You can see the
ships in the harbor between Amy's head and the point of the kayak and the
landing beach is the thin brown strip just to the right of the kayak beneath
the trees. |
