Death Valley - 4/5 to 4/6

Okay, allow me to apologize in advance for the number of pictures we took here but I absolutely love Death Valley. I first visited in November of 2001 for a backpacking trip with Todd, Troy and my college buddies and I've been wanting to get back there ever since. The first row of pictures are of Panamint Springs (central portion of the park to the west) at sundown from up high. The second row was taken from Panamint Springs at dawn - I was so excited to explore the park I couldn't sleep. We went on to explore Mosaic Canyon, the sand dunes outside Stovepipe Wells, the salt flats in Badwater basin, Artist's Palate, and finally exited the park through Zabrieske Point before heading for our next destination, Las Vegas, and a much needed rest.
