Bizarre Shades of SandOkay, this picture makes almost no sense without an introduction. This was taken at the lip of a ridge I was hiking up. The sand with the slanting stripes in the foreground is immediately beneath my feet. The black slanting portion is the opposite, down-side of the ridge and the white part beyond it is the sand that didn't fall in the shade of the ridge. Bizarre, huh? |
