Oregon Coast - 3/31 to 4/2

We drove from Seattle down I-5 to Longview and then crossed over the Oregon border and headed due west to Astoria. From there we turned the corner onto Hwy 101 and have been going south ever since. We stopped for the night in Lincoln City, about 1/3rd down the coast. We then took the rest of the next day to drive the other 2/3rds of the way stopping in several of the beach towns like Newport, Florence, and Coos Bay. Our lengthiest stops were at the Sea Lion Caves and the Umpqua Dunes, both pictured below. The rain started mid-afternoon and never let up meaning we didn't get out of the car much after the dunes. We stayed our last night in Oregon in Brookings, literally the last town on the coast before entering California.
