So yeah, I just email bombed about 80 people, ranging from my parents to folks I don’t even know inviting them to join my World Cup pool. I am totally against spam unless it’s me that’s sending it. Then it’s okay.
If you’re reading this, you’re now morally obligated to compete in Elmo United’s FIFA World Cup pool. Don’t sweat it if you don’t know much about footie–sometimes that’s a distinct advantage.

Group: Elmo United
Password: [comment and I'll email it to you, or I can send you an invite]
See how nice I am? I’m even pointing to places for you to crib your picks:

Anyone is invited to join—even you reading this on a LiveJournal F-list. I think I included the usual suspects who surf this blog, but if I missed you let me know. You can email me at thergenrader at hotmail dot calm and I can send an invite.
P.S. Dad, I may have sent it to your old email address. Let me know if you didn’t get it.

I’ll do it, but without a prize other than the recognition that I beat (or plan to) the most well-read footie fan this side o’ the pond, my investment will be limited. As soon as you finish your Portugal pics uploading, I’ll expect to see some visitation to the Big Adventure from a Madison IP.

PT, my Internet has been intermittant at work, believe it or not, and it takes too long to go through my blog roll. I apologize for being so lax. I realize now I should have been taking sick days and staying home for the high speed Internet.
Right….you missed me! It’s bherg@…com. Later! BTW, I really like your pictures. The one of City Hall is a real keeper!
