		<description>It&#039;s kind of frightening that guys like Bornstein and Pearce are who the US turns to if a first-teamer goes down, isn&#039;t it? I maintain that the first eleven is not too bad, even quite good if they&#039;re on song. But the drop off in talent from the bench is severe.

Yeah, I don&#039;t get Dempsey. He&#039;s good enough to play for a mid-table Premier League team, he&#039;s got to fight for his place and to play 90 minutes, and he scores the occasional goal for them. If he tried those same tricks in England, they&#039;d bench his ass.</description>
